the meta mechanics are the same in every sector. the buyer, the metric that matters and the trap are not. five industries, five real rapchik accounts, and what to copy from each.

our meta ads strategy for 2026 explains the engine: andromeda reads your creative to decide who sees it, and the signal you send back decides who meta finds next. that holds in every sector. this guide covers what changes when you apply it to meta ads by industry in india, using one real rapchik account per industry.

  • real estate: for lodha developers, 45 flats sold, 100% attributed to digital, at 3.8x the industry average conversion rate.
  • agriculture: for marut drones, ₹25 lakh became ₹8.7 crore across 23,420 leads in 13 states, peaking at 36x roas.
  • sports academies: for sports for life, a whatsapp ai agent delivered 5x faster first response and 200+ trial bookings in the first month.
  • d2c: 4.5x roas with ai retargeting for a d2c brand, with diwali on 8 november 2026.
  • luxury: ₹2.1 crore from one meta campaign for a luxury retail brand.

meta ads by industry: what actually changes from one sector to the next?

the campaign mechanics barely change: broad targeting, several distinct creatives and a quality signal sent back. what changes is the buyer, the metric that predicts revenue, the format they respond to and the mistake that wastes money. get those four right for your industry before you touch audiences or bids.

the account principles stay the same, as set out in our andromeda structure guide. the table is where industries part ways. it is our working view, not a meta benchmark.

facebook ads for real estate india: from cost per lead to cost per site visit

facebook ads for real estate india should be judged on cost per site visit, not cost per lead, because a visit is where property sales are decided. pair that with the legal floor: the rera registration number and authority website on every ad. meta's special ad category for housing does not currently apply to ads shown in india.

what we did

for lodha developers, 45 flats were sold, 100% attributed to digital, at 3.8x the industry average conversion rate. for another real estate developer, average time-to-lead was 18 days, which is why we never judge a property campaign on its first week.

why cost per site visit beats cost per lead

here is an illustrative example with made-up numbers, not client data. two campaigns spend the same ₹2 lakh.

metriccampaign a: cheap formcampaign b: filtering form
cost per lead₹400₹900
leads500about 222
share that book and attend a visit5%15%
site visits25about 33
cost per site visit₹8,000about ₹6,000

campaign a wins in ads manager and loses on the ground. our lead generation ads guide covers the form settings behind campaign b.

rera rules for property ads

section 11(2) of the rera act, 2016 requires every advertisement to show the project's registration number and the authority's website, as quoted in a haryana rera order and andhra pradesh rera's guidelines. states add detail. maharera's order list shows order 46c/2025 of 8 april 2025 on qr code and font size norms (maharera). as reported by the realty today, it requires the registration number and website in a font at least as large as the contact details, with the qr code in the top-right corner, and penalties of ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 per violation. we saw only that summary. our landing page guide covers the rera block on the page itself. this is general information, not legal advice.

does meta's housing special ad category apply in india?

not for ads shown to indian audiences, as far as we can verify. meta's developer documentation lists housing as a special ad category. jon loomer's guide says the housing rules cover the us, canada and parts of europe. we could not view meta's help centre page directly. if you target nri buyers in those markets, expect the category to apply, with fixed age ranges, all genders and no lookalikes. this is general information, not legal advice.

what to copy

  • set "site visit done" as a crm stage and send it back to meta.
  • keep a small retargeting campaign running across the full decision window.
  • put the rera number, website and any state qr code on every creative and page.

facebook ads for d2c brands: festive season and post-diwali planning

facebook ads for d2c brands in india should plan around diwali on 8 november 2026 without stopping there. meta's own 2026 playbook describes a five-month shopping window running through the wedding season and republic day sales, so keep retargeting and catalogue ads live after diwali instead of going dark.

what we did

for a d2c brand, ai retargeting delivered a 4.5x roas. the shopper who browsed and left is often the cheapest sale you will get.

what meta says about the season

diwali 2026 falls on sunday 8 november, as listed by wikipedia's diwali entry and several panchang sites, and timings vary by city and region. meta's festive accelerator 2026 playbook urges brands to plan across a five-month window covering festivals, sales and the wedding season, as reported by indian television. the same coverage names the november to february wedding season, black friday, year-end festivities and republic day sales as post-diwali openings. t2 online reports meta's view of two peaks: planned buying about six weeks before an occasion, and a last-minute surge in the final 48 hours. these are meta-commissioned findings, not independent data.

a festive calendar for the next 90 days

our working plan from today, 25 october 2026:

windowwhat to runwhy
now to 5 novemberbroad prospecting with reels and catalogue ads; build engaged audiencesmeta's planned-demand phase is already under way
6 to 8 novemberretargeting and offer reminders; cap new teststhe last 48 hours reward urgency, not discovery
9 to 30 novemberretargeting of festive browsers; gifting and wedding creativeshoppers who did not buy are still warm
december to januarywedding season, year-end and republic day sale creativemeta names these as the next openings

what to copy

  • lock festive creative early, since edits during the peak can restart learning.
  • keep retargeting budget separate so prospecting cannot starve it.

facebook ads for sports academy and coaching centres: talk to parents

facebook ads for sports academy and coaching centres should speak to parents, because they decide and pay. use click to whatsapp ads, since parents want to ask about timings, fees and the nearest centre before booking. the whole result depends on replying in minutes, so automate the first response before you raise budget.

what we did

for sports for life, we built a whatsapp ai agent that greets, qualifies and books trials. it delivered 5x faster first response, 60%+ qualification before a human saw the chat, zero manual first-touch and 200+ trial bookings in the first month. the stack was n8n, manychat, gpt-4o, leadsquared and google sheets, with ringg ai voice calls for no-shows. the full build is in our whatsapp ai agent case study.

why the audience is the parent

since february 2023, age and location are the only information meta uses to show ads to teens (meta newsroom). so write for the adult: a parent at a match, the question a parent actually asks. the creative tells andromeda who the ad is for.

what to copy

  • run click to whatsapp ads with a pre-filled message naming the sport and centre.
  • define a qualified lead as fields: sport, age group, nearest centre, preferred time.
  • measure cost per trial attended, not cost per conversation.
  • for coaching centres, swap sport for course and batch.

facebook ads for farmers: reaching rural buyers by language and season

facebook ads for farmers work when the creative looks like the farmer's own world: his language, his crop, his season and a person he trusts. rural india now holds most of the country's internet users, so the audience is there. one national campaign in hindi or english averages very different markets into a weak result.

what we did

for marut drones, we ran state-specific creative and forms across 13 states, with ai voice follow-up within minutes of each lead. ₹25 lakh of ad spend produced ₹8.7 crore and 23,420 leads, peaking at 36x roas. the details are in the marut drones case study.

the rural audience in numbers

india has about 958 million active internet users, and rural india accounts for about 548 million of them, according to the iamai and kantar internet in india 2025 report, as reported by business today. reaching them usually means writing in their language, which is why our ad creative strategy guide treats language as a targeting decision.

language and seasons

farm buying follows the crop calendar, which differs by state, so the same month can be peak season in one state and dead time in another. build a grid of state, language, main crop and buying window, and let it decide when each ad set gets budget.

what to copy

  • one ad set per state or language where buyers genuinely differ.
  • a local speaker, the local crop and a money story in every concept.
  • short regional-language forms that route by district.
  • a call within minutes, because a farmer who filled the form at night is in the field by morning.

instagram ads for luxury brands: reaching hni audiences in india

instagram ads for luxury brands in india should look like the brand, not like a sale. hni buyers are few and concentrated, so let broad targeting and premium creative find them, keep frequency in check, and measure revenue or client visits per campaign. discount banners and crowded layouts cost more in brand value than they earn.

what we did

for a luxury retail brand, one meta campaign drove ₹2.1 crore. separately, we built the india digital identity for versace × rosenthal, covering branding and social. that was brand work, not an ads result, but its lesson applies to ads: a luxury feed is judged as a whole.

how big is the audience?

small. knight frank's wealth report 2026 puts india's ultra-high-net-worth population at 19,877 people, sixth in the world, as reported by mediabrief. trade blog vaizle reported in september 2025 that household income targeting had reached some indian accounts. we could not confirm this with meta, so check your own ads manager.

luxury creative norms

  • product and craft first: materials, hands, detail, in natural light.
  • one message per ad, white space, no price stickers.
  • reels and stories for discovery; carousel for collections.
  • invite to a store, a preview or a private appointment rather than "buy now".
  • cap retargeting frequency; the tenth view of one ad stops feeling exclusive.

which campaign setup should you run by industry?

use the leads objective with a quality stage for real estate and agri, sales with catalogue retargeting for d2c, click to whatsapp for academies, and awareness plus sales or store-visit goals for luxury. in every case, split ad sets only by hard limits such as project, state or language, and send outcomes back.
